History of academic discipline – too specific
[edit]Note to self/for later. I think the "Ministerial training" and "As an academic discipline in its own right" subsections can be made more general – they don't need to single out individual schools. — ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · contribs · email) 08:08, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
Section "Classical philosophy"
[edit]In the section "Classical philosophy," it is stated that "Greek theologia (θεολογία) was used with the meaning 'discourse on God' around 380 BC by Plato in The Republic," citing "Republic 2.360c." However, the word θεολογία does not appear in Plato's text, and the source is considered invalid. Instead, Plato develops his rational theology (natural theology) in Book 10 of the Laws.
